To calculate your ruling number, simply add all of the numbers in your date of birth and reduce it down to a number between 2-10. If your total equals 11, 22, or 33, there are no reductions as these are considered Master Numbers.

1+0+1+7+1+9+7+8 = 34. When reduce to a single digit (3+4=7), your ruling number is 7.
May 23, 1971
0+5+2+3+1+9+7+1 = 28. When reduced to a single digit (2+8=10), your personal ruling number is 10
July 16, 2006
0+7+1+6+2+0+0+6= 22. There are no reductions as 22 is a Master Number.
